#মধ্যপ্রদেশ: দেশে ঢুকে পড়েছে বিশাল পঙ্গপালের ঝাঁক। আর যার জন্য বিপুল পরিমাণ ক্ষয়ক্ষতির আশঙ্কা রয়েছে। ক’দিন আগেই খবর এসেছিল, পঞ্জাবের পাকিস্তান সীমান্ত দিয়ে পঙ্গপাল দেশে ঢুকে পড়তে পারে। সেই আশঙ্কাকে সত্যি করেই মারাত্মক সংখ্যায় পঙ্গপালের আবির্ভাব ঘটেছে।
ঝাঁসি জেলা প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে বলা হয়েছে, দমকলকে বিশেষ কীটনাশক নিয়ে তৈরি থাকতে বলা হয়েছে। যাতে কোনওভাবেই পঙ্গপাল ফসলের ক্ষতি না করতে পারে, তার ব্যবস্থা করছে প্রশাসন।
জেলাশাসক জানিয়েছেন, স্থানীয় মানুষ, কৃষকদের নিয়ে একটি জরুরি সভা করেছে প্রশাসন। সেই সভায় নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে পঙ্গপালের গতিপথ নিয়ে সরকারি কন্ট্রোল রুমে খবর পাঠাতে। গ্রামের যে অংশগুলিতে সবুজ অংশ অর্থাৎ গাছপালা বেশি, সেদিকেই পঙ্গপালের গতিপথ থাকবে। সেই গতিপথের খবরই দিতে বলা হয়েছে।
এদিন মধ্যপ্রদেশের ছাতারপুরে দেখা গেল হাড় হিম করা ভিডিও । লাখ লাখ পঙ্গপাল ফসলের ক্ষেতে ছেয়ে গিয়েছে । শব্দ করে সেই পঙ্গপাল ওড়ানোর চেষ্টা করছেন চাষীরা ।
